Thanks for the link. With regards the Mark/David thing - it takes two to tango does it not??

Nice to know now where that lovely snowy picture on the rear of the album is from...
MK states Mother is 90, surely 93 as she would have been 90 in 2016.

* Mark Knopfler - NOT just a hobby, but a way of life!

* Owner of Two Fender 'Mark Knopfler' Signature Series Stratocaster's (SE00616 & SE03805) both with signed Fender labels after meeting MK at Bridport, Dorset UK on the 27/09/2013!

At last, an interview by someone who actually knows something about Mark and his career!! So, who was Mark talking about here?
"A very well known female singer came to see me when she was very young and suddenly very successful"
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

Adele doesn't seem to be struggling with fame and stuff. I don't think she's the limousine type either. If it's not Amy it's probably some other junkie...

Why Mark is getting so cryptic nowadays? He can't say who said "heavy up for me" line and now this unknown young artist. OK.

I think it's the right and honorable thing to do. Good on Mark.

In post no. 5 from this thread there is a link in the signature. That one still works.
