I do plan to enjoy every minute of this adventure, each show, every meal and all the cities.

Do I read too much into it or does Richard know that it could be the last big one?

Your probably read too much. But considering Mark ageing there is good chance it is the last big one.

I got the same feeling reading Richard's words.

As Guy says, apart from Tom Walsh, none of them are doing chickens...

Let’s just focus on this tour, enjoy it and see what may subsequently happen...

"will probably" is a bit too strong. More like "there is a chance".

I must say I think Mark handles this very wisely. He has aged gracefully and he seems to be planning to wind down in style.

Always seen him as a genuine, down-to-earth person.
Hopefully he will miss the fans and everything so much that another album/tour will happen, as long as he is still at good health. If not a new album then a tour with the best of the best  8)

Probably the next tour will be something like 4/5 weeks in Europe/UK and a few weeks in the US.
Nothing like he is doing now. About 12 weeks in Europe/UK and 6 in the US.
At least that is what i expect for a next tour..... :think

Actually I think he should have done that already in this tour, the current schedule is too tough, he was already tired after some shows in 2015

Absolutely.  He was worn out on the last tour.  It can't be good for a guy his age or condition and the performances must suffer.  Certainly the shows became shorter.

I totally agree it should have been a shorter tour this time.   I feel quite worried for him, in fact.

To embark on a tour schedule like the current one, a man at about 70 needs to be in really good shape. Given all the work with the new album and the musical, it would be really difficult to maintain a proper workout schedule. And the current photos of Mark clearly shows that didn't happen. Fingers crossed. I feel a bit sorry for those attending the shows at the end of each leg.
