This is great stuff, but what needs to be "restored" in Pulse?
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

I think there were complaints that the camera shots were not as good on the DVD as on the old VHS...
I hope the added "Hey you" and "Maroon", which are sorely missing from the DVD.

Anyway, to be honest I would rather have a box set on Meddle and Animals, or a proper one on the Wall with 1980/81 videos, rather than this waterless recent stuff... My 2 cents.

it seems there will be also a very reduced edition 2LP + 2CD only which should have
an unheard version of Shine On, unheard Marooned Jam (should be pretty long), unheard early demo of High Hopes

Roger Waters has confirmed there is a 5.1 surround version of Animals coming soon. I hope they include the 8 track version of Pigs On The Wing Pt 1 and 2 with the Snowy White guitar solo joining the 2 parts.

Yeah, I hope too :)
Frankly, this would be more interesting that this overpriced (too) recent stuff.
Still, a BR improved version of Pulse is interesting. I hope they coud sell it separately.

expensive yes, but then again, i also bought the early years. and i did get into Floyd with the waterless music, first Delicate sound of thunder, then all the rest.
would love to hear the missing songs from that, the marooned jam etc..
most importantly, when will our very own Marky EVER do something similar?
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....

yeah imagine,
- Dire straits early years (1977-1983) 12 dvd + 17 cds
- Dire straits later years (1984 -1993) idem (complete ont the night etc...)
- MK side projects ultimate box (unheard sessions NHB / Chet / collaborations
- MK solo early / middle / later complete deluxe ultimate bonus box

Ok I'll stop there but just imagine  :P
