I have listened to most of the episodes, and enjoyed it. The first ones I really *listened* to. Then I have been listening while doing something else. Then listened with one ear..  I usually love is "history lessons", but admit to find the episodes more dusty and boring now. The Jeff Beck song was horrible, the rest I can't remember ten minutes after, sorry. His voice is soothing as always, and I know I can't expect much, but I hope he comes up with something a bit different again in the next one :)

According to Guy, not all the British broadcast radio programs were recorded...

That means that in any moment, the last episode broadcasted, would be really the last... At least by now.

Maybe the last one is already the last recorded and there is no more episodes (hopefully, by now)...

It's funny that Guy listened to only one episode, reminds me when I asked Robbie McIntosh about a song from Down The Road Wherever and he said he haven't listened to the album yet. The album he played on :lol

My hope is that since Bob Dylan had more than 100 episodes, Mark can't just stop at 20 episodes. That's only 200 songs, not a very big collection in my book.

Think how much time should spend MK recording a program... Time that he is not recording songs!

Due to Corona he might not be able to record anyway, I don‘t think the band would be able to come from the US.
So at least he is giving  something to us fans to enjoy!

He doesn't need to bring the band from the US. There are plenty of musicians in the UK that are used to work with MK (Robbie, Marcus, Geraint...) or they can record remotely, Guy recorded a soundtrack for a game like that...

One episode is like 45 minutes, stories obviously is something that can be prepared earlier. Maybe he's not even listening to the whole song, if so, he can record like 10 episodes in one session. I can hardly believe that he's sitting there and listening to songs in real-time. Bottom line, this is not hard at all :lol

I know because I tried it many times, if you have a long recording session that includes talking a lot, let alone singing, your voice deteriorates like crazy and you end up basically without a voice. So maybe those episodes where Mark's voice sounds especially weak were recorded later in the session :hmm

I don't think MK records 10 sessions per day... Maybe he doesn't listen to the whole song, but I'm sure the speeches are repeated until he's fine with what he said, my guess is that in good full days, he would do three or four. I can't see him arriving early to the studio, straight to the small room and being working there until late. We know he's not like that  :lol

Did anyone would rather listen to the programs, track by track, instead of have it all in one file?

Yes?

Ok, ok

Hurry up!

Wow, that's actually an amazing idea!

The show is filled with memorable and funny quotes, and it's nice to track it down track by track. Something like "I know about their music because they sent me their album, very thoughtful of them".
