Great to have my holidays this and the next week! So by all chances I might be able to sit and wait for the pre-sale to start. I think it is nicely done,
one look onto the map and you know what

Some important things to note. There is a limit of four (4) tickets per order on all presales for the Get Lucky Tour. Also, tickets for all shows will be available for pickup at the venue's box office on the night of the show only. This will help curtail any of these tickets ending up on the inflated secondary ticket market. We're doing everything we can to ensure a smooth process for you on the night of the show.

Good idea, means REAL fans should get the tickets.

Agree. But OTOH, it's bad for those without a credit card who have to rely on others to order tickets for them... Yeah, I know I'm whining a lot today but I'm p!ssed.

In both Scotland and Newcastle he is playing in larger venue's so Dusty's right.  As a Scot I must confess that the SECC is not one of our better venue's.  I saw the Straits there in '91 and EC in '97 and the accoustics aren't great.  The Clyde Auditorium is literally right next door where he played in '01 and I personally prefer that as a venue.

Never been to the Clyde Auditorium. Seen Paul Simon and Dylan/Van Morrison at the SECC, it's not the worst "shed", but in no way does it compare to the Playhouse.

The god thing about the SECC though is that it has a decent hotel attached to it, you can check into your room, have a meal, have a beer then just stroll through a corrido to the gig, great stuff. :)

I remember walking along that tube once after being to a CD and record fayre also held in the SECC.  For those who don't know it's about a mile long and mostly perspex windows that don't open for ventilation.  Anyway, the temperature outside was about 70F (unusual for Glasgow) and inside that tube it was absolute torture.  Ah, the days when we spent over

I am really sorry he is not at the Playhouse, Edinburgh or City Hall, Newcastle.  I feel they have much more atmosphere and intimacy than big arenas, which is why I always went to those venues.   I have decided to go to Manchester MEN this time because it is nearer home and it makes no sense to travel a longer distance for the same sort of venue.   I have never been to Brighton or Bournemouth venues, so hope for the best!  ;)

Haha Val, as you know I have never been there either, but I am sure it will be wonderful and hey .... we are there and as long as Mark and the guys are standing / sitting in front of me, I don't care where I am!  ;D

Lucky for my family I am getting calm a bit now I am sure I have the tickets! ......I remember my son trying to get tickets for a hardcore festival last year. He was busy at 3 computers to get access and buy the tickets!  :o I told him he was nuts.........but looking to my own reaction and getting nervous at 5.30pm, they all might have thought I was an idiot too!  ;D

I've been to Brighton a few times now (a German alien in England). The venue is nothing special, a block of concrete really, quite ugly. But Brighton is a very nice place, the seaside and the small town, all very nice. Nice parks and sightseeing, fish & chips of course. Do you know that Brighton is the 'gay capital'? And it can be really busy on weekends, especially when the sun is out. Difficult to find a parking space.

Apart from that it is more or less Guy's home concert town and MK's son went to the BIMM there and now Guy's son will be there too.
