It's also not bugfree and not an official release.

We are stuck with slow development of Simple Machine forums i guess.

I'm ok with the forum as it is, is easy. There are things like the image size and the avatars size that could be improved but the rest works ok for me.
You might get lucky, now and then

An available upgrade should be possible, but an complete new lay-out or something is really a lot of work. Last time we have done that was with the new banner and new colours. I worked quite a time on that with Nelly (Knopflerized).

There is always a risk of malfunction, we had it several times int he past, once all avatars dissappeared. I can look into an upgrade when i have some private time left.

But what's the main thing you are bugged with? The fonts?

Thanks for the effort, Dutchessy.

Overall, the forum works fine, and my "complaints" are rather trivial in the big scheme of things, but coming from for example The Gear Page, this forum feels quite antiquated in comparison. Like I mentioned, the fonts can be an issue when you copy and paste. Also I'd like it to be easier to post and resize photos. With some forum software you can copy and paste photos straight into the post and also resize them directly. Better implementation of multimedia from various platforms would be nice too, i.e. videos from FB, Instagram, vimeo, etc. YouTube links too should be possible copy and paste without editing the URLs.
