Don't be sad. We got a reissue of things we already had.

I usually separate the artist from the person, but with Clapton, with all we lived and continue living these last two yours, I'm finding it difficult...
You might get lucky, now and then

it's sickening the quantity and quality of DS/MK live material we and the world have not seen (and very likely will never see)

I guess they really don't know what a bluray is, let alone 4K

I have to say, that trailer from Eric's new release look very bland, he seems to be singing each song the same way, It doesn't look very exciting from that clip. The fact is Eric Clapton is not Mark Knopfler, I am glad I am a huge fan of Mark instead of Eric.
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

I agree with you totally.   I'm so pleased that I was fortunate to became a DS/Knopfler fan.  I do like lots of other people's music too, but not enough to be a huge fan as I am with MK.   I enjoy listening to other genres, but that is something entirely different.

That's it EC is very bland - same-ish kind of froth to me!! We are all indeed spoilt by 'the master' himself!

Interesting,

Dare I say it I'm at a crossroads (get it?!) with listening to JB at the moment. Unlike MK where you can listen at will, I find I have to be in the right mood to listen to JB or blues in general....
