Chariots Of Fire was produced by David Puttnam in 1981, the next year he produced Local Hero. Both movies are famous for their music being more legendary than the films themselves. Without the music, they would never ever be even close to their success. And so, genious composer is an extremely rare phenomenon indeed!

The next film album after Chariots Of Fire was Blade Runner. I was just thinking about this album.

damn, really loved his music. my father had a double lp of his, still see it in front of me, wild synthesizer music, memories. rip ..
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....
