seen him live twice (wall shows) great events, but musically, he just cannot sing decently, and as good as his band is, Gilmours band is deffo better imho.and he can sing (DG)
then there is the annoying megalomaniac personality, and as much as i agree that Israel is doing a lot of bad shit in palestine and i think him standing up for that should not have him banned in Frankfurt BUT......, his asskissing of putin really annoys me

Roger Waters in that regard acts like some of the Russian "patriots" among artists. For instance, Nikita Mikhalkov was a great movie director with some great movies, but he has flushed his entire reputation and art down the toilet by being a 100% pro-regime clown. It's astonishing to me how people can ruin their whole lives and reputation by simply being stupid and taking the dark side of history. Roger certainly did that for me, I just can't take this guy seriously anymore.

I went to a Roger Waters concert before he went crazy. I enjoyed it a lot.
In 2018 I went again and I almost left midway. It's like being in a political party event, especially now with his pro-Russia views. It's not for me.

Waters is against war, and people killing people, that's about all there is to it.
Just listen to Each Small Candle.
It's all through his lyrics and his music since the beginning.
I'm not saying I like the political side of his art and some of his stances but like Waters I'd rather see Ukraine and Russia broker some kind of peace treaty than having thousand of poor people killed on either side for years.
