This is easily the best track of Tracker!

It's a shame that only "proper fans" will hear this song. I guess it won't find it's way to Spotify etc.

It's one of the strangest yet funniest song I've heard from him I think. Those guitar noises..  ;D

Ben Knopfler (MK´s son) has a badass band that play metal rock... could this be a homage to his son´s band? The intro is quite like a hard rock band, and also the end, even the song is more like Celtic Dance thing...

I think it´s not. Ben didn´t know anything about that song, and he doesn´t want anything realted with his father in his Facebook. Also, the word shagpile is an Irish word, and the happenings seems to be olcated in the south of the States.

Shagpile is a kind of carpet.

As I'm only getting the "Deluxe" version, if someone could pm me a link to these extra two tunes, I would appreciate it very much.

I like the melody in this one, a fun track but not a greatest hit number or anything.

This is one of only two I haven't heard - the two that are on the box. Any tips anyone  :)
