Did you saw this? https://www.whereseric.com/eric-clapton-news/303-eric-clapton-friends-tribute-ginger-baker

Eric Clapton AND FRIENDS... And "The Friends" are not announced yet, but tickets would be on sale tomorrow!!!!

MK is a friend, and he knows the Cream stuff, actually MK had played some Cream songs with Clapton when they toured together, also played one Blind Faith song when Clapton so I guess if MK is one of the guests they could at least play "White room", "Sunshine of your love" and "Can't find my way home"

Just speculation, of course, but if MK still has the idea of stop touring, this is the kind of one offs he could do...

Let´s see if there is any announcement today before tickets go on sale tomorrow, it's the Hammersmith Odeon so tickets will be sold out soon I guess...

Never gonna happen.  These days Mark gives a whole new meaning to the nickname Slowhand!

As a guitarist Mark is done, hence his constant attempts to convince us he's a songwriter.  He recognises this and these get-togethers are a thing of the past.  This is why nothing like this has happened since Monserrat back in 1997.  The Wyman thing was different as he was the only guitarist playing on stage during his set.

Well, when touring with Clapton he was just the second guitarist, with some solos here and there. I can see him doing it again for two or three songs...
You might get lucky, now and then

All that was before his "I'm too old for this shit" mood for the last tour.

There is a logical solution here....

Just roll out the Hillbillies once again...

Serious thought - with MK's age and stage....this could be a great fit...

But....its never going to happen!!

It would be a gift and a true gem. But yes, that's right — looking forward only (whatever that means).

I have seen the NHB quite a few times and really loved their concerts.   I would love to see them get together again, but, just like MK they are no longer young, so I don't realistically see it happening, unfortunately.

Tickets for the "Eric Clapton and friends - tribute to Ginger Baker" went on sale at 10.00 UK time, and they are SOLD OUT right now.

I hope some of you managed to get tickets in case MK is involved.

I managed to see them a couple of times and the shows are really great, however as you point out they aren't so young now.  Steve is a year older than Mark, however Brendan is a few years younger.

They'd need to change the setlist quite a bit:

Stroll Me Down
One Way Granny
Good Rocking Chair Tonight
Your Own Final Way
Railroad Retirement Song
Hip Worry
Hobo’s Dentures
Denomination Funeral
Can’t Be Satisfied Anymore
Calling God
Feel Like a Retirement Home
