What a blooming joke that this is not available worldwide.

The worst thing about it is that there was seemingly no attempt of getting it worldwide at all, like "here's a show for you, listen to it somehow".

When things like that happen, my only hope is for this thing to be released "the bad way" as quickly as it can.

Following that logic I was the one who uploaded "Mark Knopfler on Guitars" documentary straight on YouTube, because it was available in US only. And so what? It made 10 millions of views and a lot of money for the original rights holder. What are they thinking...

It was a funky mix of music, to be sure, aside from his outtake with Dylan.  But I genuinely wrote down two musicians I never heard of before ... So an hour well spent with the very gravelly voiced Granddad Knopfler.  :clap

I recorded the show and Mark introduced us to some very interesting artists, including Gregory Alan Isakov - San Luis, beautiful song, enjoy!

Your Canadian fella  :)

How come I'm so surprised when the tide rolled in

I think he did well, but not exactly lively. Perfect for a late-evening show. I also think the narration was cut and edited in places. The music overall is very laid back. Sunday afternoon music, to be honest. Not that that's a bad thing. It probably is an indicator of where Mark is at musically these days.
