Putting out Encores was a bit of a gamble, because it mainly targeted the fan. Because let's face it, who would buy an expensive EP 12'' reissue, with live songs, outside the fanbase. Encores is still available straight from the company, which means that DS fans are looking for something different. And from what I can tell, not even the usual middle-men/vultures who buy in bulk to sell afterwards with a huge profit dared to stock this one. A pity, because it was a good re-release, but this lack of interest might either put off the management from putting out such things, or lead them to more safe/sure choices, that usually do not interest (particularly) the fans, but target a more general public. Who needs another edition of Making movies? ;-)
By the way, even the double single containing the CG demos, didn't sell out that fast. It was available at the regular (RSD inflated price) for a at least a couple of years after its release. And even at discogs it didn't begin to sell before 2020, and still the price is reasonable.
