weel done !  :clap
great tone, great playing, great singing

and Romeo played with a Tricone  :thumbsup, most likely the one Mark used on the original recording imho

Love the fact that you noticed that I use a Tricone. I absolutely love it! And think it sounds much more like the original recording than the Style O :)

Thought I should drop by another  version of Romeo And Juliet that we did a couple of weeks ago. We have also made a new Facebook site for this tribute that we now call “Local Heroes”. Also planning several gigs for next year with this band. This is fun!

Many thanks Tobben - it was very enjoyable.  R&J is  one of my favourite DS songs btw!    Also it was really nice to see the couples dancing!   :)

Why did you decide to do another version of R&J btw?

Listened once more to R&J and SHS. You know, a good index for cover bands is the cringe factor. With this one: zero. Now we want Sultans and Calling Elvis.

They have a strange sound on this one (telegraph) or maybe it's due to the vibrato too marked

We did another tribute gig a couple of weeks ago. 200 people came to see us, and it was absolutely fantastic after two years with covid all around. I even got covid 7 days prior to this gig, so I was still a little short breathed. Still - an experience of life time, and a childhood dream come through to do one of these gigs  ;D

Here is a pro-shot version of Down To The Waterline from that gig:

I think I read somewhere that Romeo was recorded with the tricone and not with the O Style, but can't remember.

No, I find french difficult to understand, sorry, but I never read them, just a quick look and that's all.

I guess some people use on-line translators, and I think it can work

regarding the tricone on R&J, I don't remember having read it somewhere. It's only a thought  because of the play-back on TV and a discussion I had with Ingo if memory serves
