One of my favourite songs from the 'On Every Street' album. We played it occasionally on the tour, but not often. John Anderson had a hit with it, and we performed it with John on stage one night, which was an honour.
I am a huge fan of Jeff Porcaro. What an honour it was to reproduce his drum parts on the 1 1/2 year long tour.
I've copied Jeff's performance of WICTY, including some interesting drum fills, especially in the guitar solo where he plays ride cymbal on an offbeat, instead of a crash on the downbeat.

Love it! One of my favorite tracks from that album too. Lovely touch with the ride there, too.

This track does nothing for me. Just like "who's your baby now" on STP...

But I'm glad to see Chris enjoying himslef playing it. I thought his memories from the OES tour were not that great...

 :o :o

I love that song, one of my fav on the album
so much JJ Cale influence, the riff doubled on the national, the lead guitar, Mark's voice...

nothing to compare with "Who's your baby now" which I agree is a weak song

I'm not saying that the songs are similar, just that have a similar effect on me, which is close to zero. Matter of taste... :) I feel that OES album was stuck between country-like songs (not really my taste) and weak rockers like Heavy Fuel, which makes it an heterogeneous album... But CE, OES, Iron Hand, YAYF and PONO really shine!

He also does CE on his channel which is a bit more interesting I think.

I really like this song.  I can understand some may find it boring though, just as I did initially, however over the years it has grown on me.

Once I heard the NHB live performance from the Snape gig I could not listen to the DS version anymore.

I like them both, but especially the NHB version.

I far prefer the DS version

NHB version is way too much country for my taste. I miss the laid back /JJ Cale atmosphere

You and your friend wasn't played THAT often, according to the bootleg sources :)

Maybe slightly off topic, but maybe CW remembers what songs they rehearsed and never played during the tour? I mean, there were some odd ones at the very start, So far away played twice and so on. Who knows what was considered as a part of the show.
